Some people should open their minds…
Inevitably every so often my dial up number with Freeserve becomes useless. So I phone them up, say I am getting engaged signals, and ask for a new number (well, they used to just offer) and then all is good again.
So today my connection just isn’t going to get past busy, so I search in my mail archives for a phone number and give them a bell. “OH, we cannot give you a number, you have to download it from the Website”
And there on the page is “You must have Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher”
Excellent. Fantastic…. Works really well with my Linux box doesn’t it…. Oh well….download it on my XP box and then copy across the settings. Ho Hum.
