A lot of Balls…
Avid followers of my life, and people reading old weblog posts will know how betrayed I felt about the Summer Ball at Imperial College Union. Not the event itself, but the way in whihc its preperation was conducted.
Amusingly I can say that an amount of the final event wa due to me, and ideas that I, amongst others of course, made.
Anyway, I didnt go to the ball in the end. I and a number of others went to a BBQ in Guildford insted. Which was nice. One person I know did manage to get in some how gatecrashing the event. He wrote a review of what Smyle Productions did which has been useful, and oh so very very interesting, especially if we can manage to find the paperwork we had about the events organisation. Lets say its enough to show that someone, somewhere, was not doing his job propperly.
A famous man once said "Never attribute to malice what can be explained by incompetence" or atleast i figure someone probably said it prior to the guy who told me. Ok, so step back, chill out. but the route of it is a certain, someone, somewhere still acted with malice. He lied for starters…. and he of all people we the students had to trust. oh well.
