Just book a train
Andy has commented on before train booking seesm to be a pain. Actually, he, and indeed I am not the only one, as I have known people have to resort to the phone due to Euro Star being so bad.
All I wanted was to get from Peterborough to Aberdeen. However, with many different tickets it was going to be interesting. OK, so as ever I shuld have booked it earlier, but still, QJump showed tickets that didnt exist, whilst those nice people at GNER (who deserve my wrath about the whole idea of evening "Rush Hour". maybe. maybe not. they dont really know) have a system that doesnt really give you what you ask for. The Trainline was a dead loss as it failed to let me carry on once it insisted i registered.
So eventually I have booked tickets, through two different sites, and am doing it in two legs. I do have a seat reservation tho. and will makesure I get a pub tea in Aberdeen…
