Untrustworthy Wizards

I have pretty much killed my linux installation after trying the Network Sharing Wizard in Mandrake 10.0, I really should have known better.

It will be the land of manual configuration tonight then. or trying to install an earlier version, get it working, then upgrade linux again….

Its a little odd, but mandrake will not seem to allow me to configure (graphically) non internet net connections. Then it gets confused until you delete them. Land of /etc once I get home then….

Back In Reality

My holiday is over, and its back to work. On Wednesday I got home from my latest voyage on STV Prince William as you can see, my photos are on line, along with a "medium" link for those who have a smaller bandwidth connection to the internet….

In case you are wondering i found it to be a good trip. Although we did seem to lose a number of trainees, especially early on. People should not be forced to go. They have to want to….
