A quick trip to my nearest Argos Extra yesterday resulted in us nowbeing the proud owners of a Thomson ANT515U Indoor Amplified Antenna the results of whihc meant that we went from zero digital reception to absolutly amazing digital reception. This could be for two reasons, the above bit of hardware truely rocks, or the areial on the roof might as well be a rock.

Of course I am aware on my drive to work everyday that I do not live far from a TV transmitter….

what is Writely?

Its been a bit windy down south of late apparently. Even bigger news than last year

I have mentioned to some people about the railway I pass each day. Pretty cool apparently. If you like that sort of thing. One thing did catch my eyes though…

…and its this. The Friends of Kirklees Light Railway have their own site. and on it is something called a “Footplate Experience” Hmmmmm. Maybe one day. But the really amazing thing is that the first engine was built at home by the chappie who started this incarnation of the railway.

Ooops… I have not updated this blog in a while. A quick round up of where I have been then…

I don’t think I have mentioned this before, but I recently changed my job. I now work for a controls/automation company with an office in West Yorkshire. This will mean I work in a alrger variety of industry sectors, and the work is more geographically local to where I will be living, but still I will get site work.

Last week I was at CamJam 2006, whihc was held at huntingdon racecourse.

And now its back to the reality of moving home.
