I have mentioned to some people about the railway I pass each day. Pretty cool apparently. If you like that sort of thing. One thing did catch my eyes though…
…and its this. The Friends of Kirklees Light Railway have their own site. and on it is something called a “Footplate Experience” Hmmmmm. Maybe one day. But the really amazing thing is that the first engine was built at home by the chappie who started this incarnation of the railway.

Driving miniature/light railway engines is quite fun, just ask Dan. Him and myself have both driven round 10 1/4 gauge engines at Watford with ICRS.
