Asda Living @ Cortonwood were last night (at least) flogging special Halloween Pringle’s at 99p each, or buy 2 for 74p. So, if you wanted one, the best thing would be to buy 2 and then just dump the unwanted one. In some countries this would be illegal. I kinda think it is immoral, promoting wastage, but presumably they are judged on how much goods they throw away unsold. Selling it for a greatly reduced price might be better on paper than throwing it away. But i would guess someone somewhere is playing the system for their bonus.

What are the chances of actually throwing it away once you have it? It would take quite an obstinate mind.
Hmm, encouraging obesity maybe. Unless it replaces a snack you would have had anyway.
You cannot throw away pringles. It is impossible (well, for the flavours that include MSG). And the “Once you pop you can’t stop” thing is true too.
Except I was pacing myself, as I wanted some breakfast left for the following day too.
