Having made another fantastically nice smelling Banananana Tea Bread I decided to shake it out of the tin. Half of it came out, but the bottom, and sides were still in the tin. Maybe I should have waited till it had cooled and consolidated a little!

Ok, so some might think this is a little bit sick… but lets play spot the bunny rabbit in the linked picture
Its only nature.
Me, a Project Manager.
Not that it makes a huge difference in how I work day to day, as I’ll still be doing engineering, but now I will actually be responsible for the management of my projects too (I have always tried to get involved with it, and lead myself though)
yeah, I like how Word suddenly just changes its settings for you. But, if you are having problem with text on your PC, where typing does not replace highlighted text, and high;lighting then backspacing does’nt get rid of it earlier, then I have found the answer.
That’s one less thing to annoy me.
I may not work for the best employer in the country, I think I do, but I will accept others might beg to differ….
I do officially work for one of the best companies though.
Last Night we took the troop to see the making of Calendar News. The very nice people at ITV let us sit in a room looking onto the gallery where the programme was being controlled and put together, and then afterwards we went into the studio, and briefly met the presenters.
During the programme going out, we could watch and hear the production team talking to each other, the studio, and the reporters doing outside broadcasts. Just a few stories took up most of the programme (one lasted 15 minutes of the 30 minutes) but with bits from the presenters, outside reporters, and packages made earlier, I figure we still got to see all the action.
I thought it was rather cool, but then I am like that. The scouts didn’t exactly look bored, and seemed chuffed with the autographs they got!
I have finished my NEBOSH course now. Well, the learning, the exam is on Friday.
One of our lecturers/tutors has done a bit of work in the brewery industry (nice work if you can get it… although apparently they only ever offered him tea and coffee) which leads to a strong suggestion that one should not drink beer from the bottle. Bottles of beer are stored in cellars and out houses and places like that. Its not unreasonable to say that a number of these will be visited by rats, and rats like to pee.
Leptospirosis is spread by rat pee.
So, his choice is to always ask either for a glass, or a straw.
Mind you, who would drink softies out of the can either?
