M 1 Lives

I don;t even know why I looked. But typing “musicone” into Google resulted in a link the the M1Live website. And instead of saying how it was nice whilst it lasted, it said it was back.

Wow.

Wonder if it will sound so good now… one way to find out.

Props

Well, its one way of realising a desire for a role in an RSC Play.

Mister Ed

It has (yet) again been brought to my attention that Mister Ed is (or more accurately was) a talking horse.

This fact is almost usable as one of those tests for how old someone is….

What kind of blog are you?

Via Devils Kitchen, I found The Typealyzer whihc then says I am (at least when writing my blog) a member of “ESTP – The Doers”

ESTP – The Doers
ESTP
The active and play-ful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.

The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.

Scouting for Salvage

Not the cleanest campsite

I’ve never been to any music festivals. For my August Bank Holiday I went to the Leeds Festival, but only after (most) of the punters had gone. Welcome to the world of tent salvage – a day out for us Scout leaders

It seemed to resemble something out of Mad Max.

A quite impressive statement on the world in which we live. The smell of burning, amongst other things, compounds strewn with belongings. Why bother to try to carry it home? Buy a tent, sleeping bag, and other stuff at Tesco, pitch it, enjoy yourself, then go home leaving it all behind.

We spent a few hours picking up a Polo-full of stuff. I have not finished checking it all out and moving it to scout stores yet (Need scout stores sorting out a bit first) and we will see the value of our finds sometime in the future. The problem is, maybe we should be more selective in the future, given that so much of the stuff is discarded because it is so cheap…

Back

Ooops. Where did I go?

Thanks to Sam for reminding me I was going to post something on this site. Its not like I have not had things I wanted to put on here, its just that my inspiration and ability to post have not met up and done something together.

There are a couple of drafts, and a few other things to say though. So they should be here soon….
